Wednesday 11 November, 2016 - The McGrath Pink Visa has again been named one of Australia’s best value credit cards in the annual Mozo Experts Choice Awards Credit Cards.
Mozo compared and analysed 175 credit cards from 59 providers to find the best value card on the market. “Credit cards are frequently used as a convenient way to pay yet many consumers still get stung with sky high rates and annual fees or choose the wrong card for their particular financial situation,” says Mozo Director Kirsty Lamont.
“Every Australian has access to lower rates and better customer service. There is no reason why the average person should have a credit card with an interest rate of more than nine per cent,’’ said Community First Credit Union, CEO John Tancevski.
The McGrath Pink Visa low rate credit card is more than 4.25% lower than a low rate credit card from the big four banks which can add up to a lot of savings. The Community First card offers the same rate on purchases, balance transfers and cash advances. Also half of the card’s annual fee ($20) is donated to the McGrath Foundation. So far, this has raised over $400,000 to help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia.
