The Pink Debit Card lets you access your own money while supporting the McGrath Foundation. Community First will donate $1 of the card’s monthly fee to the McGrath Foundation each month. The McGrath Foundation raises money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they're needed and seeks to increase breast health understanding.

Features and benefits

  • Functions exactly like a Visa card but allows you to utilise your own money to pay bills, purchase goods online or simply go shopping
  • Allows you to perform transactions online, via any ATM with the Visa symbol, EFTPOS and over the counter
  • A monthly fee of $6, with $1 donated to the McGrath Foundation each month. This fee entitles you to the following transactions without additional fees:
    • All Visa Debit purchases 
    • All Direct Debits 
    • All Internet Banking Transfer
    • Unlimited ATM withdrawals at any ATM

Community First takes specific actions to ensure maximum security. Following are some of the additional measures:
 
  • Newly issued Visa bebit and credit cards will contain EMV technology. The EMV Chip is embedded within the cards and provides you with additional security as it prevents it from being counterfeited.
  • You have the option to protect your card repayments
  • Free SMS and email alerts can be set up on your accounts with Community First. You can choose to be notified of specified debits, credits and balances on your account(s) with us which means that you can notify us immediately of any suspicious transactions on your account.
 

Verified by Visa

Community First provides Verified by Visa as an easy-to-use fraud prevention program that confirms your identity when you shop online with any participating online merchant.
All existing and new Visa cards are automatically registered, joining more than 355 million Visa cardholders, for this free service. 
 
Throughout the world a growing number of merchants, currently more than 200,000, are offering Verified by Visa. Look for the symbol as a sign these merchants value your business and your security.
 
Each time you make an online purchase with a participating merchant, the Verified by Visa program assesses the risk level of the transaction. Certain activity may seem out of the ordinary – maybe because it’s a high dollar value transaction, or a retailer you’ve never bought with before. In these instances you may be asked to confirm some simple personal details – like date of birth, mother's maiden name or address details – so we can be sure the card isn't be used without your permission.
