E-statements


E-statements now available

Our new e-statements functionality provides you with the convenience of having your statement history at the click of a button. By registering, you will also be helping the environment by doing away with paper statements.

  • They will also make your life easier by storing all your statement information in a single secure environment on our website. Never lose a statement again!
  • It's also faster than a traditional paper statement as there is no postage required. We will send you an email as soon as your statement is ready for viewing.

FAQ - E-statements

What are e-statements?

E-statements are the electronic delivery of your monthly or quarterly statements. E-statements are much more environmentally friendly as they replace your current paper statements you receive in the mail.

How much does it cost to have e-statements?

Absolutely nothing.

How do I sign up for e-statements?

You will need to contact Community First Direct on 1300 13 22 77 or your nearest Financial Services Store to register and arrange for a password to be set up. Once this is done, you will be able to access your e-statements.

How do I view and access my e-statements?


Simply click on the green E-statements login button found on the top right hand side of the home page of the Community First website. You will be prompted to enter your username and password which you will have been given when you contact us to register. Once you enter your username and password, click ‘login’. This will take you to a password change screen where you will be asked to enter and confirm a new password. Once you have changed your password, you will be taken to the document history screen where you can enter a date or a date range to search for your desired e-statement.

What happens if I don’t receive an email notifying me that my e-statements are available?

If you find that your latest e-statement is available online but you didn’t receive an email notifying you, you should:
  1. Check to see that your mail box isn’t full
  2. Contact Community First Direct on 1300 13 22 77 or visit your local Financial Services Store so that we can look in to it further.

What are the system requirements for viewing e-statements?

To view, save and print E-Statements you will need to have Acrobat reader version 4.0 (or higher).

How do I print my e-statement?

After you have logged in and selected the statement you would like to view from the document history page, click on ‘View’, located on the right hand side of the statement you wish to print. This will bring up a new screen with your statement in it. If you would like to print multiple statements, simply click the checkbox on the left hand side of each statement, and click on ‘View selected’ at the bottom right of the screen. You can now proceed to print your statement like you would a normal page via the printer icon found on the top left hand bar.

How do I save my e-statement?

After you have logged in and selected the statement you would like to view from the document history page, click on ‘View’, located on the right hand side of the statement you wish to print. This will bring up a new screen with your statement in it. If you would like to save multiple statements, simply click the checkbox on the  left hand side of each statement, and click on ‘View selected’ at the bottom right of the screen. You can now proceed to save your statement like you would a normal page via the floppy disc icon found on the top left hand bar. You can also save your e-statement as a PDF.

Can I receive a paper statement as well as an e-statement?

No. If you elect to receive e-statements, you will receive all your statements electronically. You cannot receive statements for some accounts online and others as paper statements. You can revert to paper statements should you no longer wish to receive e-statements.

Is it safe and secure?

Yes, e-Statements are a reliable & secure way of receiving your monthly/quarterly account statements. Your statement is stored behind firewalls and is transmitted to your Internet browser using 128-bit encryption which means it is well protected.

When will my e-statement be available?

Your e-statement will be made available at the same time your normal statements are issued. You will receive an email notifying you when your latest e-statement is available.

How long will my e-statement be available?

Your e-statement will be available for at least six months from the date of issue.

Can I cancel e-statements and revert to paper statements?

Yes, you can cancel receiving e-statements and revert to paper statements at any time. In order to do so, you will need to contact Community First Direct on 1300 13 22 77 or your nearest Financial Services Store to de-register.

How do I update my email address?


You can either contact Community First Direct on 1300 13 22 77, visit your nearest Financial Services Store or update your details via logging in to Community First Internet banking and selecting ‘Other’, then ‘Client maintenance’, then ‘Contact details’ from the drop down menus.

What happens if I have a joint account?

If you have a joint account where you have not elected for only one account holder to receive statements, and you register for e-statements, you will receive your statements online, however, the other account holder will continue to receive paper statements.

Can I view statements dated prior to my registration date?

Yes. You will be able to view statements you would have received from Jan 2007 onwards.

What is the difference between a transaction listing and a statement?

A transaction listing (like what you would find in internet banking) does not contain the relevant legal disclosures that are mandatory to make it a statement. For example, opening and closing balances, interest and ATM fees.

What if I need a statement that is not online?

Simply contact Community First Direct on 1300 13 22 77 or visit your local Financial Services Store to request a copy. This will incur a fee of $1.50 per statement.
