Government Interest Free Green Loan


Community First will be accepting applications for Interest Free Green Loans until 5pm Tuesday 16th March 2010 via our Financial Services Stores only.

As the program is being concluded this week, we will only be accepting applications for interest free green loans via our Stores if you have already received your official Green Loans Report issued by the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.

If you have had an in-home assessment completed already but have not yet received your green loans assessment report back, we are unable to accept your application.

What if I miss out?

If you miss out on a Government interest free green loan, you may still be able to finance a range of environmentally friendly initiatives via Community First's 5 star rated
green personal loan.

How to apply for an Interest Free Green Loan

All new loan applications must be submitted via our Financial Services Stores. This means that we will not be accepting any applications for Interest Free Green Loans online or via our call centre.

Please note that you must have received your Government issued assessment report back in order to apply.

Interest free green loans will be available for a maximum loan term of 4 years and for maximum loan amounts of $10,000. All loans are subject to lending guidelines. Terms and conditions, fees and charges apply – details available on application.
